Under the introduction of Director Wang Lu, Director Su and his party had a preliminary understanding of the strategic layout, founding team, development history, corporate honor, core technology and team of Shenzhen Cell Valley, and had a further understanding of the one-stop full process service from basic research to clinical transformation provided by Shenzhen Cell Valley.
At the symposium, Professor Wang Jianxun pointed out that the core technical team owned by Shenzhen Cell Valley has successfully prepared CAR-T cell products for more than 50 targets using self-produced industrial-grade retrovirus vectors, which have shown excellent safety and effectiveness in clinical studies of a number of domestic medical institutions. In addition, Shenzhen Cell Valley has successfully established a number of subsidiaries in Beijing, the Greater Bay Area and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and has set up Yunnan Cell Preparation Center and Henan Cell Preparation Center. Looking forward to the future, its strategic development plan will cover from Southeast Asia and even the broader international market, committed to providing high-quality, affordable cell therapy products, and truly realize the corporate vision of "cells benefit all beings and genes create the future".
Director Su introduced that the total area of Optics Valley has expanded to 518 square kilometers. In terms of human resources, the region is home to many institutions of higher learning; At the same time, scientific research institutions are also gathered here, including 71 national scientific research institutes, including the Wuhan branch of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. In addition, Optics Valley has built eight professional parks, of which Optics Valley Biological City has grown into the most influential, innovative and complete industrial cluster in the biological industry in the central region. The industrial cluster has played a positive radiation and driving role in the coordinated development of the "1+9" regional biological industry park in the province, and has become an important driving force to promote the high-quality development of regional economy. The purpose of this visit is to conduct more in-depth communication with Shenzhen Cell Valley through field visits, hoping to promote the further development of cell therapy in Central China and the Greater Bay Area.
