Professor Xu Jinfu is a National Nature Outstanding Youth winner, Changjiang Scholar of the Ministry of Education, and a leading talent in Shanghai. He is the Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, the director of the Department of Internal Medicine, the leader of the Department of Respiratory and Critical Care Medicine, and the director of the Institute of Respiratory Diseases of Tongji University. In recent years, Professor Xu has chaired a number of National Natural Science Foundation projects, published a large number of high-impact scientific research papers, and published articles in top international respiratory journals such as Nature Immunology, European Respiratory Journal and AJRCCM.
