Professor Jiang Jianli's team from the Fourth Military Medical University came to Shenzhen Cell Valley Co-explore the new direction of cell therapy cooperation
Recently, Professor Jiang Jianli's team from the Cell Engineering Research Center of Military Medical University of PLA Air Force (Fourth Military Medical University), National Key Discipline of Cell Biology and National Center for Molecular Translational Science Medicine visited Shenzhen Cell Valley for exchange and guidance. Professor Wang Jianxun, the chief scientist of our company, Dr. Fu Yuchen, the assistant to the chairman, and Ms.Sun Rui, the minister of the Marketing Department, warmly received and arranged the symposium.
Under the detailed guidance of Professor Wang Jianxun, Professor Jiang Jianli and his team members visited the digital wisdom exhibition hall of Shenzhen Cell Valley, and had a preliminary understanding of the strategic deployment of Cell Valley, the uniqueness of core technologies and its future development trend. Subsequently, Professor Jiang went further into our quality management laboratory (P2 laboratory), gave in-depth guidance on the relevant inspection and testing items, and put forward valuable suggestions.
The Cell Engineering Research Center of the Fourth Military Medical University and the Xi'an Cell Engineering Base of the National 863 Program is a professional cell engineering pilot base integrating scientific research, teaching and industrialization. The center is headed by Academician Chen Zhinan of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and has won many awards, including the Gold Award of invention Exhibition, the first prize of military Science and Technology Progress, the Important Contribution Award of the National 863 Program and the Outstanding Achievement Award of the National Key Research Program.
Professor Jiang Jianli served as the deputy director of the Cell Engineering Research Center of the Fourth Military Medical University. He has been devoted to the basic and applied research of tumor cell biology for a long time, especially in the field of exploring the molecular regulation mechanism of the occurrence and development of liver cancer, and has made a number of important scientific research achievements with forward-looking and innovative significance. Professor Jiang has been in charge of a number of scientific research projects, such as the National "863" Program, the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the National Science and Technology Major Projects, and has won three national invention patents. He has published several high-influence academic papers, 32 of which were included in the SCI. In addition, Professor Jiang also served as the deputy editor of the book Engineering Cell Biology, and participated in the compilation of many academic works such as Cell Engineering, Basic and Clinical Studies of Cancer Markers and The Frontier of Cancer Research.
At the symposium, Professor Wang Jianxun said that our company has successfully prepared CAR-T cell products for multiple targets by using the self-produced industrial-grade retroviral vector, and has carried out clinical application in many public medical institutions in China. In terms of strategic deployment, Shenzhen Cell Valley has set up cell preparation centers in Yunnan and Henan provinces, and will continue to expand. The visit aims to strengthen the cooperation between the two sides in the field of cell therapy, and hopes to build a cell therapy center platform.
Professor Jiang Jianli pointed out that the on-site visit is a good opportunity for the two sides to deepen exchanges and jointly promote scientific research cooperation. He stressed that the development of cell therapy, as a frontier of medicine, must rely on close cooperation across disciplines and institutions. He looks forward to working with the Cell Valley team to use cell therapy technology to deeply study liver cancer and jointly promote the innovation and application of cell therapy technology.
This exchange marks the further deepening of the cooperation between Shenzhen Cell Valley and the Cell Engineering Research Center of the Fourth Military Medical University. Both sides expect to promote the clinical transformation process of cell therapy technology and bring hope and good news to many cancer patients.
